Sacatelle is a full-service creative manufacturing company that provides in-house designs for customized apparel, bags, and packaging for various brands and distributors. Sacatelle helps companies create customized products to serve as “walking billboards” to advertise their brands.

I was able to work with various companies such as Snapchat, Pandora Media, and Beats by Dre to create an online portfolio of creative promotional apparel, bags and packaging options they could select to be sent into production.

Snapchat is a multimedia messaging app known for sending photos and videos to people that disappears after opening and public stories after 24 hours. With over 218 million daily active users, the company was founded on the belief of talking to real friends with photos and videos on a more personal level that is more fun than traditional texting.

With this project with Snapchat, I was assigned to design various tote bags and backpacks that follow the same type of creativity as the company. I was able to integrate important aspects that are known from Snapchat such as SnapCode and the illustration design from the partnered Bitmoji.

Pandora Media is a music and podcast platform available via web and mobile app with about 70 million users per month. The platform provides a personalized listening experience to its users with Music Genome Project and Podcast Genome Project technology. As a subsidiary of Sirius XM Holdings Inc, it has become one of the world’s largest audio entertainment companies.

I was brought onto this project with Pandora Media to design tote bags and backpacks for their Pandora Live concert featuring the singer and songwriter, Halsey. The custom bags and backpacks would be used as giveaways and for Pandora Brand Ambassadors to use to hold promotional items to pass out during the event.

Founded by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine in 2006 and acquired by Apple in 2014, Beats by Dr. Dre is a leading audio brand that provides a family of premium headphones, earphones, and speakers. The brand has introduced a new generation of premium audio and sound that conveys energy, emotion, and excitement to music lovers’ listening experience.

Beats by Dre was seeking to have custom apparel designed and made under Sacatelle’s Swagatelle division. With the direction from Beats by Dre, I was set out to design t-shirts and jackets with a creative but minimalistic design using their brand colors.

Postmates is an on-demand delivery service that brings goods to users from just a click of a button online. Founded in 2011 by Bastian Lehmann, Sean Plaice, and Sam Street, Postmates transforms the way goods move around the city by connecting users with local couriers who can deliver anything from any store or any restaurant. Available in 4,200 cities with over 600,000 merchants, the company connects people with their city while helping local brick and mortar stores compete with major retail corporations.

Sacatelle has previously worked with Postmates on a project before, which produced the black and yellow insulation bags that are widely used by couriers today. Postmates and Sacatelle had teamed up for another project to produce customized apparel with a minimalistic design. With that direction in mind, I applied a minimalistic design for Postmates onto various apparel types ranging from t-shirts to beanies.
